Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Jan Blieske , Prof. Dr.-Ing. Thomas Römhild, Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Jan Blieske
The aim of the project is to make the city of Wittenberge which is facing vacancy problems since the downfall of the industries, liveable again for the citizens of the future who are young professionals looking for the work/ life balance.
By analyzing and observing the city, problems were defined such as lack of attention to the medieval area, lack of structure/ hierarchy, lack of orientation in the city, undefined public spaces.
The squares were divided into groups according to their functions and the problems specified. Special importance was given to the medieval area since its lack of recognition in the city.
